WOW! What a crazy year 2017 has been. Happy New Year, everyone!
I have been employed as a Verizon technician for over 25 years. In 2017, I decided to retire and pursue my dream (again) to become a full-time photographer. My first venture into supporting myself was one of the most adventurous times of my life. The things I did, the places I went, the people I met, all of those experiences led me to become the photographer I am today.
But, I blinked. I had about 15 years in at the time and after 2 years of supporting myself, I suddenly became unsure of my footing and tucked tail and went back to my weekly grind. The most boring 10 years of my life!
However, now, I am a very different photographer than I was back then. Heck, I’m a very different photographer now than I was just a few short months ago. With nothing else to fall back on this time and no corporate job to run back to, there is only one option. Moving forward!
So, here I am. Bending 2018 to fit my needs. Creating awesome imagery for my clients as well as for myself.
